Overview
The LX-24M digital audio adapter offers high performance
20 bit, studio quality audio with simultaneous, multi-track
record and play capability. MPEG Layer I/II encode and decode
is standard as is 8 and 16 bit linear PCM compression. The
LX-24M provides 2 channel record capability with 4 channel
playback. All inputs and outputs can be configured by the
user in balanced or unbalanced mode. 96 dB dynamic range is
typical with THD+N rating of .003%. The LX-24M is a half size
card and designed for application in 32 bit Intel or Alpha
based PCI systems. Demo software and drivers for Windows
95/98/NT/2000 and XP are provided at no charge.

Software Development Kit
The Antex Software Development Kit is designed to enable
programmers to control various features supported by Antex
Cards. The Kit is very helpful because it alleviates the programmer
from having to write an extensive amount of tedious code to
access the Mixer Controls using the native Win32 API. Furthermore,
the Kit contains several routines that make it very easy to
play and record audio in all formats supported by Antex cards.
Once again, these functions are also designed to insulate
the programmer from having to deal with the complex Win32
Multimedia Audio API. These functions work in both "Non-Console"
(GUI) programs as well as in "Console" programs.
The library contains a "C" interface so that it
is callable from C, C++, Visual BASIC, Delphi and other languages.
The Mixer component of the Kit also contains a C++ object
model which further simplifies programming. More than 20 source
code examples are provided, both in "C" and "C++"
which demonstrate various features of the Kit. A 350 page
manual is also provided. Users of the DOS ADK will find this
Kit useful if they intend to port their programs to the Win32
environment.
