Electronics’s DMX-4 Audio Interface Certified
by SoniClear Trio Systems for use with its SoniClear recording software
Pasadena
SoniClear Trio Systems, a leading developer of Windows recording software has certified the Antex Electronics DMX-4™ multichannel audio interface for use with their new SoniClear Court Recorder 7 and Gov Recorder 7 products.
SoniClear software digitally records legal proceedings and meetings on Windows computers. When recording critical legal or meeting information, it can sometimes be difficult to hear and identify individuals in a large room or when more than one person speaks at the same time. The four input channels on the DMX-4 work with the SoniClear multichannel capability to solve this problem. Capturing multiple audio channels assures the accuracy of transcripts and minutes.
The DMX-4 USB audio interface connects four microphones for recording on Windows computers. It is very small and extremely easy to use. There are no knobs or switches to set, eliminating the possibility of operator error when making recordings. Unlike firewire-based audio interfaces, the DMX-4 does not require a special Firewire adapter. It connects to the computer using a standard USB cable and is Microsoft Certified for Windows XP and Vista, for compatibility with any Windows computer systems.
According to Alan Bartholomew, President of SoniClear Trio Systems, the DMX-4™ is ideally suited for multichannel recording without the need for technical expertise. “Having a reliable way to record multiple channels is essential for court reporting and high visibility meetings”, commented Bartholomew. “The DMX-4 is the only product that has the ability to do this in a compact, easy-to-use package.”
“The DMX-4 provides a unique and effective solution for recording and archiving of courts and meetings.” states Dave Antrim, President and CEO of Antex Electronics.. “It builds on our extensive experience with court recording and provides our customers with a sensational tool for existing and new markets.”
SoniClear 7 software is available in two multichannel-ready versions. Court Recorder 7 is designed for freelance court reporters, courts, and governmental organizations to record depositions, court sessions, and administrative hearings. Gov Recorder 7 is designed for recording and transcribing meeting minutes. Gov Recorder 7 also makes it easy archive and review government meetings over a local area network and through the Internet.
