Antex DMX-4 USB 4-Channel Audio Mixer Now Shipping!

Torrance, CA – November 2008… Antex Electronics Corp. is pleased to announce that the Antex DMX-4 USB Mixer (with Microsoft Certified drivers for both Vista and XP) is now available and shipping direct from Antex’s Torrance, CA facility. The Antex DMX-4 mixer maintains the same basic features that their customers have come to know with the DMX-8 mixer, but in a 4-input, very lightweight (1.5 pounds including external power supply!), and far more compact package. Combining the functions of a 4-input to 4-channel mixer with the functions of a 4-channel audio encoder card (like the Antex LX-44) into a single compact device, the DMX-4 mixer processes all 4 analog audio channel inputs to 2 stereo (4 tracks) discrete digital recording channels, and delivers them to the recording PC or laptop via a USB 2.0 interface.  All input channels are mixable to the four discrete recording channels. All input channels are also mixable to each of the two analog output channels, which can provide delivery to the public address system, feed teleconferencing applications, or any other requirements that can utilize an analog signal.

“We’ve enjoyed great success with the DMX-8, and we now look to this release of the DMX-4 to build upon that accomplishment and provide our customers with another sensational tool for existing and new markets”, states Dave Antrim, President and CEO of Antex Electronics.

Tim Van Grove, Antex Electronics’ Director of Sales, commented on the release of the DMX-4. “I have been receiving a significant number of requests for this product and look forward to providing a unique and effecting solution for court recording and archiving applications.”

Antex customers will find a page dedicated to the DMX-4 at http://www.antex.com/products/DMX-4.html.  The DMX-4 GUI and Microsoft certified driver are both XP and Vista compatible and can be downloaded from their web site as needed.
