ANTEX ELECTRONICS AWARDED ISO-9001 RE-CERTIFICATION

Company is Only One in its Market With This Key International Designation

Gardena, California. (July 20, 2000) -- Antex Electronics, the leading manufacturer of high-end digital audio equipment for the professional audio, video and broadcast markets, today announced it has been re-certified under the ISO 9001 by the NSAI (National Standards Authority of Ireland).

ISO 9001 recognizes companies that meet strict criteria for manufacturing standards. Certification is critical for manufacturers who market their products internationally, and has become particularly important in the European Union, where stringent safety legislation increasingly requires that products conform to certain performance requirements and specifications.

Antex, which has been an ISO-registered company since 1997, is the only firm among makers of high-end, broadcast-quality digital audio adapters to achieve this important distinction. Antex users include radio broadcasters, police and emergency (911) agencies, courtroom and legal record keepers.
